Cenovus has committed to investing $50M in first nations housing. Details include 200 new homes to be built in six communities around the oil sands over a five year period by late 2024. The communities include Beaver Lake Cree Nation, Chard Métis (Local 218), Chipewyan Prairie Dene First Nation, Cold Lake First Nations, Conklin Métis (Local 193) and Heart Lake First Nation.
